the Bytes O' History Castle
Did you know that the study of history does not
have to be a boring activity? In fact, history can be a very interesting
and entertaining subject. All you have to do is check out what this site
has to offer to see what I mean. These pages were designed for sharing as
many 'Bytes of History'
as I am able to gather together in one
convenient spot. The freeware and shareware programs found within the halls
of my castle are yours to download and enjoy. Some of these 'jewels' are
strictly informational and educationally useful, but the majority are games
which contain historical content. Just imagine, you can learn history while
having fun! Games are available for online play too.
You never know...The subject of History may just
turn out to be more fun then you ever thought possible!

The chosen background music was intended to provide the
feeling of Castle merriment.
Many of these folk songs were played in the Briish Isles throughout the last
couple of centuries. Each time the page is reloaded another title will be
played. However, if you do not wish to listen, feel free to click on the
stop
button on the console. MSIE users may have to wait for one loop of the song
in order to stop play.
